Configuring WLBrowser

WLBrowser provides a point-and-click environment for wavelets.  However as practical tool for performing wavelet analysis it is very limited since it is troublesome to import your own data and to change parameter settings.  For example the default symmlet is of fixed order.

With a bit of work you can import your own data.  I suggest that you save the M-file. def_data.m in some directory and that you put this directory in the path ahead of the rest of the wavelab installation.  Then edit def_data.m to input your time series.  In the copy of def_data.m I have provided, I input the dataset heart.dat -- just make a suitable change for your data.
