MatLab can be used at Western on Windows PC's in the PubLabs or if you have an account on our linux compute server arva.stats.uwo.ca. In both cases you will need to do a little configuration.
MS/PC Tips: To run on PC running MatLab you should download the Windows PC version of Wavelab here. You should create your own directory /toolbox/wavelab and put the WaveLab files there. After starting MatLab, run the script file: wavepath.m -- notice the modification I made to this file at line #45:
WAVELABPATH = ['c:\\matlabr11\\toolbox\\wavelab\\'];
Linux Tips: I have already installed WaveLab on our linux server arva.stats.uwo.ca. However in order to run WaveLab you must create your own subdirectory ~user/matlab and put the following startup file there:
