Assignments are due at the beginning of class.

The course TA will have an office hour in WSC 216 on Tuesday from 4-5 PM. regular office hours will be arranged later.

Sept 17, 2014 : a2-2014.pdf The due date will be announced next week, but it will be approximately in 2 weeks.

Due date Wednesday October 1, 2014. Note these are due at the beginning of class.

For students with no computing background (typically R or MatLab will be okay for this assignment), please see me. I will make a list of your names. You may work with another student in the class for this particular question. On your assignment you will state the name of this student so we know you have copied with permission.

October 15, 2014 : a3-2014.pdf The due date is November 3, 2014 and is more than two weeks from now so as to accommodate the various other courses for students. Originally the due date was given as October 31, 2014, but that is one of the two study dates with no classes.

November 14, 2014 : a4-2014.pdf This assignment has been reposted to clarify which are the problems for the assignment and which are the suggested problems, which are not part of the assignment. The suggested problems are given as several students asked for these in preparing for the exam in December.

November 26, 2014 : a5-2014.pdf This is a short assignment with a due date and time at the beginning of the exam on Decmeber 8, 2014, 7 PM. These questions are all from Chapter 6.
